Mission Statement
The Research Campus Operations Office (RCOO), also known as The Link, is a one-stop-shop on the University Research Campus (URC) where representatives from relevant organizations reside to provide a single point of operational coordination for URC interests, both internal and external to the University. These representatives include members of the Real Estate Operations Office, Information Technology, and the Vice President for Research Office. It represents a new culture of community and provides a centralized meeting location for new ideas and innovations, not only in science, technology and partnerships, but also in administrative practices, policies and procedures. The name - The Link - is intended to reflect the important role of assembling people, processes and infrastructures to accomplish the goals of the University.
The purpose of The Link is to proactively implement the vision of the URC. To accomplish that purpose, the office coordinates the following:
- Planning
- Marketing
- Public Relations
- Collaboration
- Communication
- Service needs of the tenants
